Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 3, 2026

Beijing Yundao Zhida Co., Ltd. ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect personal information when you use our website, contact forms, and AI admission analysis tools. By using this site, you acknowledge this policy.

1. Information we collect

When you submit our contact form, we may collect your name, phone number, email, topic, and message. To prevent abuse and secure the service, we may also record the IP address at submission time (typically from the X-Forwarded-For header via our reverse proxy or gateway). When you use AI admission analysis, you voluntarily provide academic background, test scores, budget, and preferences; the phone number on that form is collected for follow-up only and is not used in school matching or scoring.

When you use AI analysis, results and profile data may be stored in your browser's localStorage so you can restore them on a later visit. That data stays on your device; we do not read it remotely unless you submit a form, create a share link, or contact us. We may also collect limited technical data such as browser type, visit time, and page views only after you consent to analytics cookies or where analytics are lawfully configured.

2. How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries, provide study-abroad consulting services, improve the website, perform aggregated analytics, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties or use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

3. AI analysis, local storage, and share links

AI results are generated from your inputs and our university database for reference only. They are not admission guarantees or legal advice. Processing uses a third-party AI provider (DeepSeek). We minimize unnecessary personal data in prompts, but academic details you enter are used to generate the analysis.

You may save results in your browser's localStorage; clearing browser data or using private browsing will remove that cache. You may also create a share link that stores the analysis on our servers. When a share link is created, phone numbers and email addresses are removed from stored content, but academic profile data may still identify you.

Anyone with a share link may access its content. Review for sensitivity before sharing. You can stop using local cache by clearing browser data and contact us to request removal of generated share links where technically and legally feasible.

4. Cookies and analytics

We may use cookies for language preference and security. Third-party analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, Baidu Tongji) load only after you give explicit consent through our cookie mechanism. Before you accept non-essential cookies, we do not place tracking identifiers for those analytics on your device.

You can manage or delete cookies in your browser and, once available, withdraw consent via our cookie preference settings. Refusing analytics cookies does not block core features such as contact forms, the university wiki, or AI analysis.

5. Storage, retention, and security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. Contact submissions are stored in controlled server environments. Notifications may be forwarded to our team via email (Resend) or internal channels such as WeCom (Hermes proxy).

No internet transmission is perfectly secure. Do not submit highly sensitive identifiers (e.g. national ID, bank details, passport numbers) via forms, AI inputs, or public share links.

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described, then delete or anonymize it unless law requires otherwise. Reference periods: contact form data and associated IP logs β€” up to 24 months after the last meaningful communication, or sooner upon your deletion request; shared analysis link data β€” while the link is active and for up to 12 months afterward (older records are periodically purged); analytics cookie data β€” per vendor defaults (often several months to 14 months); browser localStorage β€” until you clear browser data or we change the storage key.

6. Your rights

Under applicable law (including China's Personal Information Protection Law and, where relevant, GDPR), you may request access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent, or restriction of processing. Contact us via the website contact page or +86 10-62885670 / +86 400-900-8020; we will respond within legally required timeframes.

7. Updates and contact

We may update this policy on this page. Questions: Beijing Yundao Zhida Co., Ltd., Room 2013, Building 3, Nongda International Entrepreneurship Park, No. 10 Tianxiu Road, Haidian District, Beijing; phone +86 10-62885670 / +86 400-900-8020.

This site provides information services to users in mainland China. We have applied for an ICP (Internet Content Provider) filing with the competent authority. Until an official filing number is issued, we do not display a filing number in the site footer. Once approved, we will publish the number prominently and link to the MIIT filing lookup system as required by law.

8. Third-party processors and cross-border transfers

To deliver the features described in this policy, we may use the following categories of processors (depending on actual configuration): DeepSeek (AI text generation, processing academic inputs you submit); Google Analytics (site analytics, after your consent); Baidu Tongji (site analytics, after your consent); Resend (email notifications to our consulting team); Hermes (forwarding inquiry notifications to internal collaboration tools such as WeCom). We require appropriate safeguards by contract or equivalent measures and limit processing to what is necessary.

Some processors may host data outside mainland China. Where personal information is transferred abroad, we will comply with applicable requirements such as security assessments, standard contractual clauses, or your separate consent. Contact us using the details in Section 7 for cross-border processing questions.
